The nation’s unemployment rate is hovering at 10.6 percent, but direct-sales companies like Tupperware, Avon, and Mary Kay are thriving and continue to draw in new salespeople. Direct sales can be a very good business to be in.
I am enjoying selling Avon, although it has only been 2 month I am trying to push my site and having little luck.
I make more sales person to person from the catalogs, do you have any suggestions on how I can build my customer contact via E selling?
Hi Josette. Congratulations on starting your business. Selling on the internet can take a little bit of time, but it can be done. You need to stick to it and not give up.
I suggest you use social networking, blogging, article writing, and forum posts. Make sure you use your link in every email you send out, regardless of the person you send it too.
You should also consider business cards. You can purchase reasonably priced cards from VistaPrint.com for these. Make sure you have your website on your card as well. Hand them out to people, leave them in places you go, and give them to your friends and family.
You can also have have online parties and use your website for giveaways. You can give prizes away and have them go to your site to pick from a few items.
Hope these suggestions help you. You should also join the forum because the ladies over there are very helpful and you can ask any questions that may come up.

it is my first comment on this blog and to start with I would like to thank you for the great information, which I found in this and all previous topics , it really helped me very much. I will definitely put this blog on my google reader :) Also, I would like to ask - don't you mind if I will quate some information from your blog because I am writing articles for the Bukisa, Ezine and other articles directories (this is my part time job)? It would really help me with some of mine articles. Of course, I will mention your blog name or URL (not all articles directories allows URL's , so I can't 100% promise that you will get a direct link to your blog).
