A blog post will work for you only if you make it work for you. There are certain things you need to do or you might as well not even publish it. If you don’t do these suggestions your blog won’t be visible to others and if that happens, you’re wasting your time.

Here are a few suggestions that will help your blog posts become the best.

1. Keyword placement

Keywords are important in your article but you don’t want them to overload your article or not be visible. There are a number of tips for keyword placement, but here are a few that I have found work really well.

Use your keyword or phrase in the title of your post. Then you need to take that exact word or phrase and place it somewhere in the first sentence. Then it’s a good idea to place it two or three more times within the body of the post. End your post with your word or phrase somewhere within the last sentence.

2. Keyword section

No matter what platform you use, you’ll have the ability to add keywords to your post. It’s a good idea to use your keyword or phrase you chose. It’s also a good idea to include your name and a couple of other words that describe what you’re talking about in your post.

You don’t want to go overboard with your keywords, but you want to make sure you use what your target market will search. Too many can cause problems with your rank, so you need to be careful.

3. Categories

Categories help keep all of your posts together based on the topic you’re covering. When all of your posts are together, people will be able to read more about the one topic and could likely use your post or they’ll purchase from you. If you have multiple categories that fit your article, it’s ok to use all of them. Just make sure you use categories that fit your article.

4. All in one SEO

All in one SEO is a plugin used with WordPress blogs. It gives you the ability to add a title, description, and keywords to each of your posts. This helps with the way your posts are viewable in the search engines.

Keywords are important when it comes to each of your posts. When people go to Google or Yahoo to search for what they’ll looking for, posts and articles will come up in the search if they’re set up with SEO. Make sure your posts will be visible each and every time someone searches with your keywords.
