Building Trust after a SCAM Business

Tuesday, October 25th, 2011

So many times we let our hearts do the thinking and we overlook what’s right in front of us. This can happen in many areas of our lives, but one area that can hurt the worst is if we join a business that’s a scam. We hurt people both mentally and financially and that’s not good.

If you’ve joined a scam business or you’re currently in one it can be very damaging to you as a person. People won’t trust you and if they do, it will take a long, long time to get it back. You have to prove to others that you can can be someone they trust.

If you find yourself in this situation, you need to do what you can to get out as soon as possible. Depending on the type of business you’re in, you may need to contact the corporate office to get out, but it’s important you do what it takes to get out. It’s also possible if it’s a true scam there is no corporate office. It’s one or more people running it themselves and taking advantage of innocent people like yourself.

You need to make posts everyone you’ve been explaining what you’ve done, that you are truly sorry that it happened, and have them contact you if they need help getting out. You need to understand people will be very upset with you and they have every right to be, so you need to be careful how you react and continue to apologize. Reassure them it won’t happen again and that you’re doing what you can to make it right with them.

Most times when you discover you’re in a scam business, it’s too late to get your money back, but it’s not too late to get out and avoid it from happening again. You can do what you can to try to get your money back, but more times than not when someone catches on to their scam, they’re gone and you’re not going to find them again.

The most important thing for you to do is apologize and try to build the trust again. If you choose to do another business it’s important to do your homework and make sure it’s not a scam. Research the company on the internet, ask around, and check with the Better Business Bureau to make sure there is no negative feedback or complaints. If you see this, it may not be a good business to get in to.

You need to be careful when you decide to join a business. You don’t want to lose money or hurt others again, so it’s better to do a little research to verify before you sign those papers.
