What can Outsourcing do for your Business?

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

When you first started your business, did you have a dream of it becoming very successful? With 24 hours in a day, that won’t happen if you’re the only one working it. You’ll reach a higher level of success at some point in your business, but if you’re the only one working it, that success is going to stall and you won’t be able to grow.

When this happens, it’s time to hire a team. Outsourcing is not a bad thing. In fact, it will help you grow your business to levels that would never have been possible on your own. You can only do so much in a day and that’s why your growth will stop. Your team will basically add more time to your day even though it won’t be your day.

Your team can include one person or it can include a half dozen or more. The main thing to remember is outsourcing everything you can will give you time to do more things that can’t be outsourced. read more

Tips for Growing your Leads List

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

Most direct sales companies pay their reps based on orders they have come in and some even pay when people sign up and have orders come in from people in their down line. For example, an Avon Representative is paid based on the orders she places for her customers.

If you run a business where you have the ability to have customers all over the place, you probably use leads to find people. Leads can come from your website, you can purchase them, or you can find them on your own.

Leads from your website are one of the easiest methods. The reason for that is because the people are coming to your site and they want more information. All you need to do is create a form for your site that asks them for their phone number, email, and name. You need to make sure they understand that you’ll be contact them regarding your business. These types of leads are free, but you need to market your site so they find you. read more

When is a few Businesses too Many?

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

Some people think one business is enough, but others have a different opinion of that. They think if they’ve worked their business for a few months and they’re not making enough money to meet their needs, they need to add more businesses to their list. While that may work for some people, most of the time it’s not a good thing to do.

The reason for this is you don’t have enough time to work the business in the way it needs to be run to see success. If you have two or three businesses that you’re running, you may be ok, but if you add more then that, you’ll find you can’t do what it takes to grow all of them in the right way.

The more businesses you work, the less time you’re going to have to advertise, market, and do what it takes to grow. If you work businesses that require parties or meetings and you have more then a couple, it will not work. You need to spend the time required to reach success. read more

How does Guest Blogging Work?

Friday, July 9th, 2010

Guest blogging is where you write a post and give it to another blogger to post on their blog. Usually the site owner will add your bio to the end of the post. Sometimes they have different ways to do this and you may find they will create a page with your bio and link to that page. Either way will work as long as you get the credit for the post.

Growing your business through guest blogging works well, because you put your link and words in front of a market that may not see your information. The internet is so big and there are so many people online that it’s hard to reach everyone on your own. So you must look for other ways to find them.

You need to search for blogs that are geared toward your target market, but you don’t want them to compete against you by being in the same business. This may be a challenge at first, but once you find a blog that works, you may find it easier. read more
